Owner-run, from Machesney Park
Affordable Painting Services is owned by Brandon Lund and based in Machesney Park, Illinois. Brandon and his team paint homes and businesses across Winnebago, Boone and Rock Counties.
The name customers use is Brandon’s
Read through the reviews and the owner’s name comes up in nearly every one. Customers write about Brandon being honest and straightforward, responding quickly, and handling the details himself. One who collected eight quotes for a large interior job chose Affordable Painting because Brandon came across as “honest and professional and he did not disappoint.”
The work covers homes and businesses alike: interior and exterior painting, commercial and industrial painting, cabinet refinishing, and deck cleaning, painting and staining - all with Sherwin-Williams paint.
More than painting
A paint job is only as good as the surface under it, so repairs are part of the service: drywall repair, plaster repair, carpentry repairs and woodworking, and handyman work. As Brandon’s old website put it, if you are dealing with water damage, rotten wood or deteriorating drywall, the team will help you “repair one room at a time.” Customers single out the drywall and ceiling repair work in particular.
Make sure it’s this one
Several unrelated painting companies use a similar name. One customer put it plainly: “make sure you are dealing with this one!! Owner Brandon Lund!” This is Affordable Painting Services of 221 Wilshire Drive, Machesney Park - phone (815) 543-4750.

Brandon looks at the job
Every job is priced after it has been seen, because the size and the amount of prep and repair decide the price. You get an estimate before any work starts.
Protect, prep, paint
Floors and furniture are covered, surfaces are repaired and prepped, then painted with Sherwin-Williams paint.
Clean up
The job finishes with the house left clean and the work checked - customers mention both.
